The Simple Life

Happiness is

being able to buy milk, juice and 1.5 litres of diet coke
without having to walk the distance of orchard to somerset with them

Happiness is

being able to spend the whole day in the store
without worrying if it's raining outside
without worrying about the time it gets dark

Happiness is

being able to buy anything i want or need
with no worries about having to carry them and how much they cost

i was awestruck by my liberated state halfway through grocery shopping
I thank life that something so mundane can give me so much joy
i thank The One that i didn't have a car before,
because it brings out all appreciation i have for it now

i saw snow flurries this morning
not really mesmerizing
looks like dust, or spots of tissue
and it's just a little bit here and there you can't really see it if you dun pay attention

it's interesting.
the weather is blardy cold today.

we had a hailstorm a few weeks back.
the roof sounded like it was crashing.
i rushed out to see what hail looks like, but was too late.
it was gone by the time i navigated through the giant plant.
the hail stones managed to topple a motorbike.
cool.

Food from the south:
biscuit with gravy (yum), fried green tomatos, turnip green, cornbread, grits, fried okra, baby carrots, green beans, black eyed peas, sweet tea, pig-in-a-blanket, cheeseball.

i'm on to a new machine.
things are looking good again.
some pple get on my nerves though.
i hate it when just because they don't see or know what you're doing they assume you're not doing anything.
now i dun like calling names
