it's late. i'm hungry. a part of me actually staying up for breakfast, which i know i'll get too tired for and i'll end up sleeping till noon again.
holland and germany were pretty good. open play, that's entertaining football, not the rubbish england and italy gave us.
regarding the juggling vs magic topic, one thing i really appreciate abt jugglers is that there is openess about it. Everyone will gladly teach anyone any trick anyone wants to know. Apparantly that's not common in the past, jugglers tend to keep tricks to themselves. but now it's out and open. and the best part is that by sharing, it doesn't mean the other person will automatically get to the same standard or be better than you, because the tough tricks take much time and effort to master. and if you're willing to put in the effort, everyone will congratulate you instead of being jealous or threatened. meritocracy and transparency.
try learning something from magicians. they have what brotherhood of magicians and stuff where you must register and prove that you are a serious magician and what not in order to join. might as well drink blood and take vows too. oh actually maybe they do take vows...vows of secrecy or something. the rich get richer by investing in more spectacular equipment and research while the poor sits green eyed in the audience and says "i can do that if i have the money".
it's slam the magicians night. :o)
the spirit of sharing. Competitiveness doesn't mean one has to start sabotaging everyone to be the top. it shld be abt "I hope you do well, just that I wanna do better" rather than "i hope everyone does badly so i can shine." the former view sets a high standard and challenges yourself to up the ante while the latter view depresses the standard so that mediocrity can shine.
back to doing proper stuff. at 6am.
