BUGS BUNNY!!!
i am so in love with my sculpture
every minute it grows cuter
i took this picture after a few days
so the arms are deflated and of course one cheek exploded (my dad shot out of his chair to check if the kitchen gas was alright)
but it still looks so cute
here's what it's supposed to look like
made one again today
but i only have brown balloons
so it looks like easter chocolate bunny to be optimistic
it looks like shit to be pessimistic
i shld get nice balloons soon.
bunny so cute!!!
------------------------------------
i'm still trying to upload a video of weiping eating fish eye balls
so much time on it
i wonder why i shldn't just give up
geocities can't support wmv for some strange reason
argh it's annoying

AcidFlask has a new fascination with mentioning juggling in his blogs, haha. To quote him:
"well now that i've brought up juggling as a test case, let's consider how one predicts 'ability to juggle'. not knowing much about the subject, i can only hypothesize that the best 'metric' is to see how many objects a person can sustainably juggle simultaneously. the obvious hole in the definition of this metric is what constitutes 'jugglable objects', which then spews forth real, measurable metrics, such as the abilities to sustainably juggle N cue balls, N balloons, N flaming batons, N satay sticks, N alligators, etc. now what? do we take some kind of average over all such objects to arrive at a definitive metric? should we bias it more strongly toward cue balls or flaming batons? or alligators? is this metric even useful? i hope it's obvious that it's so impractical! not to mention that most people won't even get past N = 1, or even N = 0.)"

and
"i had a thought a few years ago, when i was still in jc, about how singapore might just be passing its best and brightest over. how? because some of them are not academically inclined, but may be incredibly talented at other things, skills that are not measured by standard examinations. the one i decided to voice out turned out to be juggling, which juggleress has turned into a pretty profitable (and immensely enjoyable, i would imagine) freelance act. i asked myself (and a bunch of unsuspecting friends): how should we go about discovering such hidden talents? should we go around and test for absolutely everything? how do we quantify an ability to cook? or comfort lost souls? or juggle? (i suppose you could do this pe-style, and add more and more items to juggle until people just lost control...)"

the passage makes me sound like i'm not academically inclined. haha. not that i'm academically inclined, but i never thought of myself as not academically inclined. :p i'm just horizontally inclined.
The Acidflask Blog has become quite famous i think after the rage-against-the-a*star-machine post. and after that he has added a lot more GP-like post, but talking abt the failings of singapore instead of poverty in the 20th century. very good read. thought provoking.

finally, the end of my blogging spree. now for proper stuff.
